Week 6

This past week I started working on coding the website for my first project. It was nice to finish the design and structuring steps to start working on the website. I was able to get the home page coded out. It took longer than I wanted to get the first page set up, but I am hoping now that since I have the basic design and structure laid out it will start moving faster. After I completed the home page I started a page that I wanted to include an image carousel. I used this YouTube video to help me create one:

This image carousel is going to be used as an entry point to different grade levels projects. Each image on the carousel will represent a grade level and clicking on it will take you into an image gallery of the various projects associated with that grade level. I have not had a lot of practice with these types of projects so I thought it would be good for me to try and implement them to get more experience. However, it is making the process take longer and I am hoping.

This week I will continue to work on the various image galleries for the different grade levels and the other pages.
